About the Role
The IT Developer/Programmer will report directly to the IT Manager and play a key role in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-quality systems and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using Java, Python, PHP, and Laravel Framework
- Design and develop APIs and support system integrations
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and the IT Manager to implement new features and enhancements
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices
- Design, implement, and maintain SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Create and execute unit tests and integration tests
- Maintain technical documentation for applications and systems
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend process improvements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in software development and programming
- Proficiency in Java
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in PHP
- Experience working with Laravel Framework
- Experience in API development and integration
- Knowledge of database design and management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Willing to work onsite in Arca South, Taguig City
Good-to-Have
- Experience participating in code reviews
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience maintaining technical documentation
- Exposure to cross-functional project collaboration
