Senior Software Developer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE

Duration: 184 + 497 Days (Extension Possible)
Work Schedule: 7.25 hours/day, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) Modernization Program. The successful candidate will support the delivery of enhancement initiatives beyond the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), working within a collaborative team of internal and vendor resources to develop, customize, integrate, and support enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Dynamics 365 CE development, Power Platform, C#/.NET, JavaScript, Dataverse, and enterprise integrations, along with experience supporting production deployments and post-implementation enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions.
- Develop custom components, plugins, workflows, business rules, forms, views, dashboards, and security configurations.
- Implement integrations between Dynamics 365 CE, enterprise applications, and external systems using approved integration patterns.
- Develop and support data flows, APIs, and integration components across enterprise platforms.
- Translate technical designs and user stories into scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.
- Perform unit testing and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in deployment, production release, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to project and support teams.
- Follow enterprise architecture, security, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, testers, project managers, and vendor teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 CE including:
- Forms
- Views
- Dashboards
- Business Rules
- Workflows
- Security Roles
- Business Process Flows
- Strong experience developing:
- C#
- .NET
- JavaScript
- Dynamics 365 Plugins
- Custom Workflow Activities
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience implementing integrations between Dynamics 365 CE and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting enhancement-driven and post-MVP enterprise projects.
- Experience working within structured governance, security, and enterprise development standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), particularly integrations and data interaction.
- Experience with Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power Fx
- Experience with Azure integration technologies such as:
- Azure Functions
- Logic Apps
- Service Bus
- API Management
- Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of Azure-based application hosting and cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting production deployments, stabilization, and ongoing application enhancements.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
