Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer (.NET Core / Azure Cloud Solutions) on behalf of our client in Remote (U.S.-Based).
This senior-level role is responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions within a Microsoft technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET development, Azure cloud architecture, SQL Server, and Power BI, along with proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and driving modernization initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, cloud transformation projects, data governance initiatives, and enterprise reporting solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript, CSS, and Kendo UI.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure cloud solutions.

Develop and maintain cloud services utilizing Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, API Management, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor.

Drive application modernization initiatives, including migrations from legacy technologies to modern .NET and cloud-based platforms.

Lead reporting and analytics modernization efforts, including Power BI implementation and reporting enhancements.

Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and other database objects using advanced T-SQL.

Establish and maintain technical documentation, metadata standards, and data lineage documentation.

Apply secure coding practices and support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to development team members.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure applications meet accessibility, performance, security, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of professional software development experience.
