This Position reports to:
IS Operations Manager
As a Software Developer (Programmer Analyst), you design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions by combining analytical and programming expertise. In this role, you analyze business and user requirements, translate them into computer code, and ensure applications are reliable, efficient, and scalable. You are responsible for project analysis, data modeling, coding, documentation, and end-user support.
This role contributes to ABB Canada's Electrification, Smart Buildings division and is based in Dorval, Quebec.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 to 4 days per week in the office.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Server certifications are considered an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development and database management. Experience participating in system migration, modernization, or optimization projects.
Bilingual French - English. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec.
