We are looking for a skilled and motivated Ruby on Rails Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.
- Integrate data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
- Ensure application security and data protection compliance.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and implement new features based on business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, Docker, etc.).
- Understanding of background job processing frameworks (e.g., Sidekiq).
- Experience with test frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.
