Sales & Operations Planning & Product Performance Team
The team’s main objective is to leverage data and analytical techniques to guide business decisions with a primary focus on the health of the company’s P&L. The team is divided between Analytics and Development, and you will work on activities across both. This position is a direct source for providing insight to enhance commercial decision‑making for the CRJ Aftermarket and to digitize that effort by developing online tools and dashboards to deliver recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Software development and data science, including AI models and algorithms.
- Work with and understand big data sets and concepts.
- Perform analysis on datasets to derive insight and guide future decisions.
- Identify data elements and ensure a high level of data quality and accurate reporting.
- Utilize tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and Python to perform analysis and communicate findings.
- Develop automated reports and scripts with defined steps and methodology, allowing frequent and streamlined updates.
- Work with version control tools, Azure, and understand Agile methodology.
- Handle multiple data source files (.pdf, .sgml, .json, and more).
- Support web development team with design, feature implementation, and end‑to‑end maintenance of a web tool using SQL, Python, Git, Polars/Pandas, Dash, and shadcn/mantine components.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to build and optimize our product.
- Optimize algorithms to work in constrained environments.
- Familiarity with AI model development, particularly LLMs and/or agents.
Skills to Develop
- Extensive hands‑on experience solving descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Proficiency in tools to perform analysis, develop and maintain web applications, and directly improve the company’s P&L performance.
- Working knowledge of aviation‑related data: spare parts, airline operations, industry news, inventory and forecasting, demand planning, and more.
Skills You Bring

- Completing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Analytical mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables and advanced formulas, PowerPoint.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.
- General programming proficiency, emphasizing Python and SQL, and tools such as Git and Azure.
- Knowledge of Polars/Pandas, Dash, Flask, shadcn/mantine components.
- High organizational skills and team player ability to work with various departments.

Position located at East Mississauga, Ontario — flexible working schedule with expectation to be physically working at the office when required (subject to change).
