Senior Software Development Engineer (C++ | Computer Geometry)

Job Description

Software Development Engineer is part of a large global team supporting our Spark software that enables designing and manufacturing of Spark Clear Aligners. The role focuses on the initial part of the process—acquisition of raw dental X-ray scans and their processing into 3D models using machine learning algorithms.

Main Tasks

• Working in a distributed international cross‑functional team, the developer will help with solution design and implementation for new features in desktop and console applications used to generate patient anatomy from supplied scans.
• Contributing to features refinement and planning ahead of upcoming releases and sprints, working closely with product managers and the agile team.

Job Requirements

Must‑have qualifications:

• MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in C++ development
• Hands‑on experience with computational geometry, ideally within the industry
• Strong proficiency in software design patterns, such as SOLID, YAGNI, and KISS
• In‑depth understanding of Agile development principles, with proven experience in Agile teams
• Experience writing robust unit tests and end‑to‑end tests, including mocking external endpoints for both new and legacy codebases
• Strong English communication xhfqzwm skills, both written and spoken

Nice‑to‑have skills:

• Familiarity with geometric frameworks like CGAL, VTK, Embree, or similar technologies
• Experience with Python, especially for batch testing or prototyping purposes
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React
• Experience with GitHub Copilot
