Job Title
Software Development Engineer in Test – Cloud & Automation
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (Hybrid)
Experience: 1-3 years
Rates: $40 to $48 CAD PH
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a collaborative engineering team to deliver high-quality software.
- Work on product testing, including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
- Contribute to software quality analysis and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams across global locations.
- Support continuous improvement by applying best practices in testing and cloud applications.
- Suggest improvements to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute actively to a team culture focused on collaboration and innovation.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands‑on experience in application testing and quality assurance.
- Strong experience in test automation development.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Groovy, or Shell.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of test framework design and development.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to microservices and container‑based architectures.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET platform.
- Awareness of up‑to‑date cloud application testing practices.
