Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Java & Selenium) – you will design and maintain robust test frameworks, build enterprise-level automated testing solutions for complex platforms in the utilities sector, integrate QA from day one in Agile sprints, and drive best practices across the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated Java test frameworks for APIs, web services, and large-scale enterprise apps.
- Build and manage Selenium WebDriver test suites with Cucumber and BDD.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, embedding automation into every stage.
- Conduct performance testing with JMeter.
- Test REST/SOAP APIs and microservices, ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver quality at speed.
- Mentor junior testers and foster a culture of excellence.
You’ll need
- 5+ years’ experience in test automation with Java as your primary language.
- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and BDD practices.
- Proven experience in CI/CD automation using Jenkins.
- Performance testing skills with JMeter.
- Experience in testing APIs (REST/SOAP) and microservices.
- AWS knowledge and SQL/database experience.
- A collaborative, detail-focused, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
