Software Engineer – AI-Assisted Development (Contract)

€360 – €380 per day
6-month contract (with possible 6-month extension)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the adoption of AI-assisted development practices across engineering teams.
This role combines hands-on software development, technical coaching, and engineering enablement , helping teams build and ship production-grade applications using AI-augmented workflows.
You will also help define best practices, guardrails, and tooling for safe and effective use of AI in software delivery.
Key Focus Areas
- Define and promote AI-assisted coding standards and best practices
- Support teams in building applications using AI-powered workflows
- Review and guide implementations to ensure production quality
- Evaluate and integrate AI development tools into engineering workflows
- Build playbooks, prompt libraries, and internal enablement resources
- Ensure secure, maintainable, and scalable code practices
- Run experiments to improve productivity and delivery speed
Requirements
- 5–10 years software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on development background in production environments
- Experience with AI coding tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, similar)
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript / JavaScript / Python (or similar)
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, or modern frontend frameworks
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing, and code quality practices
- Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers
