Software Engineer for AI Code Evaluation Job at SaidGig in United States
Role Overview
Software Engineers in India will apply their real-world development experience to evaluate AI-generated code and technical content, provide structured feedback, and help improve AI understanding of programming tasks, system design, and engineering best practices.
This is ongoing, project-based, hourly contract work that can be done alongside your primary employment, and the engagement is invite-only.
Key Responsibilities
* Design job-related coding questions and scenarios that reflect real engineering work.
* Review AI-generated code and technical content for correctness, efficiency, clarity, and adherence to engineering best practices.
* Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI outputs and evaluation criteria.
* Follow detailed technical guidelines and complete review tasks independently and asynchronously.
Qualifications
* Based in India, with at least 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, internships excluded.
* Experience in Backend, Frontend, Full-Stack, or Systems engineering.
* Strong coding ability in at least one major language, for example Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, or Go.
* Proven experience building and debugging production-level software.
* Ability to work independently, follow detailed technical instructions, and communicate clearly in writing, with strong attention to detail.
* Applicants must pass a coding assessment as part of the selection process.
- Work Terms
* Engagement type: part-time, hourly contract work.
* Work is remote and asynchronous, with flexible hours and no minimum hours requirement.
* This is not a traditional full-time software engineering role; assignments are project-based and can be performed alongside other employment.
* Placement into specific projects depends on project availability, and invitations are extended to selected contributors.
Compensation
Up to $25/hr (depending on the project)
