Pay Details

$125,500 - $154,000 CAD – The pay details posted reflect a temporary market premium specific to this role that is reassessed annually. Job Accountabilities – What You’ll Do

As part of the TD EasyWeb team, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital banking experiences used by millions of customers every day. As a senior Angular specialist and solution designer, you will lead front‑end architecture, drive modernization, and ensure delivery of resilient, enterprise-scale solutions.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, while providing leadership, mentorship, and engineering excellence across the platform. This is an on-site role—following in-person onboarding, you’ll work primarily from a TD office, collaborating alongside your team to design, build, and deliver secure, enterprise-scale EasyWeb solutions.

  • Lead the design and architecture of Angular-based applications (Angular 16+)
  • Define and implement modern UI architecture patterns, including Micro Frontends (MFE)
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications
  • Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Drive modernization efforts (upgrades, performance optimization, best practices)
  • Conduct code/design reviews and enforce development standards
  • Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
  • Ensure quality and stability through testing, performance tuning, and production support
  • Contribute to CI/CD and automation practices

Where You’ll Work

You’ll be expected to work primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences.

Job Requirements – What You Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years of front-end development experience with strong expertise in Angular (v16+)
  • Proven experience in solution design / architecture for enterprise applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Micro Frontends (MFE)
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with Angular Material, Bootstrap, and responsive design
  • Strong understanding of RxJS and state management (NgRx or similar)
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization and scalability
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Jest)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of Java and backend integration concepts
  • Experience in financial services / digital banking platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Exposure to front-end security best practices (e.g., XSS prevention, SRI)
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace)
  • Knowledge of BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) or API gateway patterns
