BACKEND : FRONTEND : FULLSTACK PROFILES
PURPOSE
Join adidas and help build the next generation of digital platforms powering our business, products and consumer experiences.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of an international engineering team designing, building and operating scalable cloud:native solutions used by millions of consumers, creators and business users worldwide.
Depending on the team match and business needs, you may join an engineering team within either:

Digital Tech, delivering capabilities across digital commerce, consumer engagement, customer communications and business platforms.

Brand and Creation Technologies (BCT), enabling the design, creation, planning and delivery of products and experiences that drive the adidas brand globally.
Regardless of your landing team, you will contribute to modern backend services and both internal and consumer facing frontend applications, APIs, event:driven architectures and cloud:native platforms while working closely with product, architecture, quality engineering and platform teams.

Create rich feature APIs and interact with other APIs or event platforms such as Kafka.

Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes using adidas standard platforms.

Deploy and operate cloud:native solutions on adidas Kubernetes clusters.

Align and evolve team processes and adidas engineering standards.

Implement code quality assurance processes, code reviews and engineering best practices.

Identify and manage technical debt.

Mentor and guide software engineers within the team.

Engage with relevant stakeholders including Business Teams, Product Owners, QA Engineers, Architects, Site Reliability Engineers and external partners.
