- Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business logic within existing C++ programs based on change requests.
- Implement, test, and validate code modifications following best practices and internal standards.
- Review and modify Unix/Solaris shell scripts , ensuring efficient process automation and integration.
- Support ongoing modernization efforts by identifying opportunities to improve code efficiency and maintainability.
- (Nice to have) Develop or enhance Python automation tools to streamline analysis, testing, and deployment processes.
Qualifications

- Technical Expertise
- Proven experience in C++ development , particularly with legacy systems or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL and relational database concepts.
- Advanced skills in Unix/Linux , ideally Solaris .
- Experience analyzing and modifying shell scripts in production environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working across multicultural teams.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- (preferred) Experience with Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- Preferred Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development, maintenance, or modernization projects.
- Exposure to automotive or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding complex business requirements.
