You will work within an agile team, contributing across multiple technical areas to support our business objectives. Your expertise will help drive innovation, operational stability, and technical excellence. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
Drive communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new and leading-edge technologies
Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team. \Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation. \Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
\Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Proficiency coding with JavaScript and using front-end UI frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience building ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or REST style applications
Proficiency coding in C# with .NET Core or .NET frameworks
Ability to develop, debug, and maintain code in a corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages
Understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
Experience in SQL scripting or T-SQL in SQL Server 2019 or higher
Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security. \Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
Knowledge of financial services industry and IT systems
Hands-on experience with cloud-native development using providers such as AWS
Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar
