Roles and responsibilities

What You'll Do:
- Lead modernization efforts of existing applications into AWS, utilizing core services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and serverless functions using TypeScript, Java, and other modern languages
- Collaborate across multiple teams and vendors, managing shared project timelines to deliver high-impact solutions
- Contribute to bug fixes, enhancements, and new build-outs, ensuring optimal application performance and security
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and vendor integrations to streamline deployment processes
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, and AWS Lambda
- Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, API Gateway, and REST service development
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Github Actions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to navigate multi-team projects
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with vendor integrations and shared service environments
- Familiarity with modernization of legacy application infrastructure
- Previous involvement with cloud migrations and multi-service AWS architectures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in enterprise-level cloud application development and modernization projects
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, combining remote work with in-office collaboration
- Capable of quickly adapting to existing project workflows and diverse team environments
- Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps processes is highly advantageous
