What will you do?
As a Software (Data) Engineer in the technology team you will work on the systems that power our smart-building platform. Our team is responsible for ingesting, processing and transforming large volumes of sensor and building data into reliable, scalable products.
In practice, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest and process telemetry from building management systems and IoT sensors to digital twins
- Develop Python services and workflows that power our data platform and internal products
- Contribute to our software products in the realm of building analytics and building intelligence
- Continuously improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform
- Work with engineers and domain experts to turn real building data into practical solutions
- Help shape our building intelligence platform evolution as we scale our team and portfolio
What do you bring?
- You are passionate about software development and data-driven systems
- Strong Python skills and experience in building software systems
- Solid understanding of databases, query systems, and data modeling (KQL / Azure Data Explorer is a plus)
- Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Azure (event-driven systems, serverless computing, high-performance storage, IAC)
- Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic engineering mindset
- Comfortable taking ownership of technical problems from idea to production
- You care about sustainability and want your day-to-day work to support a lower‑carbon, more resource‑efficient world.
- A technical Master’s degree in a related field (Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics), or a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years' work experience
