Position Description:
Designs and develops software with object orientated programming (OOP), using Java or C#, Python, Angular 2.0+, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). Analyzes and extracts data from REST Application Program Interfaces (APIs) and parallel processing large datasets, using C# or Java. Develops custom data pipelines to extract, map, transform, and load data in various data stores -- RDBMS, Oracle, S3, and shared drives. Establishes Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to deploy code and services to AWS, using cloud-based data platforms -- Oracle, NoSQL, Snowflake, and Graph databases. Debugs and improves SQL statements and PL/SQL packages and procedures to meet goals. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing desktop and web applications using Java and .NET technologies.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing desktop and web applications using Java and .NET technologies.
