Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you will design, implement, and maintain robust analytics solutions on Databricks. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure that supports business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and jobs in cloud environments
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks and data pipelines using modern tools
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Databricks workloads to optimize performance and cost
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to support analytics solutions
• Implement security best practices and manage access controls to ensure compliance
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Databricks jobs, clusters, and integrations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
• Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Databricks certification
• Experience with Spark, Delta Lake, or MLflow
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with enterprise security and compliance standards
