Overview

Join the CommandIQ® (CIQ) team developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities. This role is part of an agile scrum development team focused on building the initial baseline of our solution.

Responsibilities
  • Decompose higher‑level roadmap features into actionable work items
  • Design, implement, and integrate/test software features
  • Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
  • Participate in technical discussions to define and solve overarching software architecture needs
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs

Basic Qualifications
  • Frontend framework development experience using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience or familiarity with Docker and REST APIs
  • Experience with UI/UX design & iteration tools (Figma, MockFlow, UXPin, Axure)
  • Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience (an advanced degree may substitute for 2 years)
  • Active Secret clearance

Desired Skills
  • Experience in Agile methodologies & tools
  • Experience in UI/UX test frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest)
  • Full‑stack engineering experience
  • Experience/exposure to GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes, gRPC, Python, Flask
  • Previous IRAD experience

Pay Rate

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 ‑ $164,450. For other states, the range reflects the candidate’s work location. This is a general guideline; final compensation will depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market considerations.
