Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions on the Javascript and .NET (C#) frameworks.
- Build, maintain, enhance and deploy front‑end and back‑end applications according to company standards.
- Unit‑test all software artifacts.
- Maintain current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Product Manager teams to develop, test, and deploy software components.
- Provide second/third line support to IT for software deployed into the company ecosystem.
- Analyze and resolve complex and high‑impact production issues.
- Monitor system performance and ensure all SLAs are met.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and workflows.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the full software development life cycle as a software engineer or developer.
- Solid understanding of software engineering design patterns and methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in object‑oriented programming (OOP) principles, with preference for C# and .NET.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, libraries and frameworks (C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, Node.js).
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Designing database schemas to store application data efficiently.
- Proficiency with relational and non‑relational databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) and efficient TSQL queries.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals.
- Passion for technology and staying current with industry trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high quality.
- Adaptability to changing environments and priorities.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to estimate effort and manage delivery time.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with understanding of player behaviour and regulations.
- Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests.
- Mobile application development experience using React Native.
- Knowledge of in‑memory datastores (Redis or Valkey).
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Experience as part of an Agile software engineering team.
- Understanding of security principles.
- Ability to develop reusable Terraform templates for infrastructure as code.
- Computer Science related degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in software engineering.
