About The Role
We’re scaling development and are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our Betting Product Technology team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to take end‑to‑end delivery and ownership of services/systems, provide technical direction, and mentor more junior engineers.
You’ll participate in an on‑call rotation approximately once every 5–6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver medium‑high complexity features/tasks end‑to‑end.
- Own end‑to‑end understanding for key services/systems; proactively identify technical risks, constraints, improvement opportunities and security considerations.
- Uplift standards through coaching and review quality; improve patterns/practices within the team.
- Write clean, maintainable solutions; use standards, reviews and testing practices to sustain quality.
- Lead design for larger changes, ensure alignment to agreed patterns/architecture and drive reviews and decision clarity.

About You
Credible breadth & depth of experience in the following:
- Full‑stack experience across API development, frontend frameworks and cloud deployment (AWS).
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs (Node.js, Java/Kotlin Spring Boot, TypeScript, Serverless).
- Working knowledge of GraphQL.
