Description
Infor is seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about developing high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver products that drive business value for our customers. A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software features aligned with business needs.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and Infor development standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure software quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, production issues, and technical challenges.
- Contribute to system performance, scalability, reliability, and security improvements.
- Support deployment activities and maintain the health and stability of production environments.
- Work with cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and modern development frameworks to build enterprise-grade solutions.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and engineering practices to improve product quality and development efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, and relational databases.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, containerization, and monitoring tools.
