We're looking for a Java Back-End Software Engineer to help us build, scale, and support high-performing systems that serve real users and real business needs.

What You'll Be Building: You'll be creating the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our platforms running smoothly: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable back-end services Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions Develop cloud-native applications running on AWS and Kubernetes Contribute to microservices, domain-driven, and event-driven architectures The Essentials: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate / NCV) 6+ years of back-end software development experience Proven experience building and supporting production-grade systems Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise Experience with SQL and No SQL databases Cloud platform experience (AWS is a bonus!) Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures Exposure to Docker, containers, and Kubernetes Nice to Have Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar You'll fit right in if you're comfortable with: Java & Spring Boot; REST APIs; AWS Kubernetes; SQL & No SQL Databases; Git & Version Control; Testing & Automation Design Patterns; Clean Architecture; Data Structures & Algorithms
