Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high performance applications. You will work closely with our front end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
. Design, develop and maintain Java based applications.
. Develop and implement efficient algorithms and data structures.
. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Must Have Skills:
. Overall 4 to 6 years' experience
. Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) microservice development.
. Strong experience in vulnerability remediation
. Hands on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift based platforms.
. Solid understanding of API design, REST standards and event driven architectures.
. Experience integrating with legacy or enterprise backends (mainframe, packaged core systems, or similar platforms).
. Deploy and operate applications on container platforms based on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
. Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
. Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good to Have Skills:
. Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
. Familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies
. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
