Overview
Software developers in the Infodev organization often collaborate with other development groups throughout the organization to provide support for other features and products.
Responsibilities
The engineer will be expected to participate in all tasks of the software development life cycle such as the product/feature specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance. They will also provide technical leadership including code reviews, presentations, and more.
Qualifications
~ BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
~8+ years of experience in software development with Java, Java Script, Web services and REST services, Git, Maven / Ant / Gradle
~ Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
~ Ability to deliver effectively in a team setting as well as independently
~ Experience in Microservices, K8s, Docker, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or any other Cloud – a plus
~ Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment that demands coordination spanning multiple time zones
~ Proven track record of delivering high‐scale, high‐impact solutions
~ Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non‐technical stakeholders and junior team members
~ Disciplined engineer who understands the importance of high standards, never satisfied with mediocrity and constantly striving for excellence
~ Comfortable with ambiguity in a fluid environment
~ Passionate about technology and not afraid to learn new things and defend opinions or position with peers and superiors
