Position Title: Lead / Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Skillset Strong Java, React/ Angular, SpringBoot, AWS

Someone with Banking, Financial, Capital Market, Investment Banking exp will be a bonus

Job Description:

  • Expert in Core Java and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across Client
  • Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
  • May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
  • Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
  • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
  • Stays abreast of cutting-edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles

  • As a Senior FIX Onboarding Specialist at Client within the CIB - Equities LOB, candidates are an integral part of the team that is responsible for managing and facilitating the onboarding process for clients using the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol.
  • This role typically involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • The Senior FIX Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for leading the onboarding process for new clients and partners utilizing the FIX protocol.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of the FIX protocol, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successfully onboarding clients in a financial services environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients and partners, ensuring a seamless integration with client's trading systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, providing technical support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technology, and operations, to ensure all client requirements are met.
  • Configure and test FIX connections to ensure they meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the onboarding process.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for each client onboarding project.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the use of client's trading systems and FIX protocol.
  • Continuously improve the onboarding process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to the FIX protocol and electronic trading.
