Responsibilities
- Oversee projects and drive deliverables for latency‑sensitive trading algorithms
- Design, develop and maintain front‑office trading applications
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into effective technical solutions
- Apply comprehensive software engineering practices to ensure solutions are secure, reliable and compliant
- Advance quoting applications by integrating observability, monitoring production health and resolving incidents
- Address root causes of risks and share technical expertise across the global team
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Java with a strong interest in learning new technologies and methodologies
- Background in a front‑office environment with direct business stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with real‑time trading platforms, including warrants, listed options, futures, market making and market links
- Clear communication for cultivating strong internal client relationships
- Strong organizational capabilities for managing multiple tasks concurrently under pressure
- Adaptability to handle daily changes in business requirements
