You’ll join the IB Financing PB & Swaps crew, operating in an agile, product-aligned model where autonomous PODs deliver client-focused outcomes. Your primary remit is the managing applications for Standard Pricing and Billing - driving resilience, scalability, simplification, and innovation, while leading the migration toward an Azure-native, microservices architecture, and compliance tech upgrades with robust observability and operational excellence.
Lead from the front — set engineering bar and standards through exemplary hands-on Java design and implementation on critical paths.
Application Upkeep — drive architectural and technical remediations, lead application modernization ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency with the existing applications
Deliver outcomes at scale — coordinate across pods and adjacent platforms; de-risk delivery, remove blockers, and ensure stable, high-quality releases.
Partners with stakeholders — engage products, architecture, cybersecurity, platform, and business lead to align tech strategy with business priorities and regulatory needs.
Champion simplification and modernization — retire legacy, reduce operational load, and improve developer experience (pipelines, tooling, standards).
