Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions across our cloud product portfolio. As a critical member of our agile engineering team, you will drive technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of Infor’s next-generation applications.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure applications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, UX Design, and QA to deliver business-critical features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical roadmap planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around software performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior developers through knowledge sharing and code collaboration.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential adoption.
- Champion Infor’s values of speed, innovation, and collaboration.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in software development, ideally within SaaS or enterprise applications.
- Experience in (programming languages relevant to the product stack — e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience of cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or similar platforms).
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of enterprise security and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains and practices.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
