Position Summary:
This role will support critical functions in Fraud Detection, Prevention and Servicing Line of Business. Fraud Detection & Prevention includes detecting fraudulent transactions based on pre-established strategies, rules and models. Enhanced fraud detection would decrease the fraud loss to the bank. Fraud detection includes both monetary and non-monetary activity (e.g Change of address etc.) This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of job related experience required .
  • Full Stack developer with hands-on knowledge of JAVA, Spring Framework, Agile, Cloud, Containers, Micro Services, REST Services.
  • Web services development with WCF and/or SOAP/REST frameworks using multiple protocols.
  • Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in using SQL.
  • Working knowledge of using Agile methodology in a fast paced environment and supporting program increments leading to delivery of features/stories.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
  • Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with .NET, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Sonar, and JIRA.
  • Working knowledge with KAFKA, MQ, Cassandra(No SQL)
  • Experience in Redis and Cochroach DB.
  • Coordinating with external vendors and assisting in resolving technical complexities.
  • Facilitates team planning ceremonies against backlog/prioritized work;
  • Understands risks and can apply the controls necessary to mitigate; Knows when to escalate risks.
  • Experience working with financial applications.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
