As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and deliver production-ready software.
The role requires strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and distributed systems, along with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. You will also contribute to code quality, system optimization, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for enterprise-scale applications.
- Develop reliable solutions for high-traffic and low-latency distributed environments.
- Design and implement APIs and backend services following scalable architecture principles.
- Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for application development and deployment.
- Analyze and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and production issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Apply appropriate data structures and algorithms to solve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Design solutions leveraging PaaS and cloud infrastructure capabilities.
- Contribute to system design discussions, architecture improvements, and technology evaluations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong command of Core Java, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
- Strong practical knowledge of AWS, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and related cloud services.
- Experience building applications for high-traffic, low-latency environments.
- Good understanding of cloud-native development and PaaS environments.
- Strong knowledge of backend architecture, API development, scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
- Strong coding, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
