£40,000 £60,000 + Bonus + Security Clearance Allowance
We're looking for Software Engineers to join a growing National Security team based in Gloucester. You'll work on cutting-edge, mission-critical projects, developing secure software solutions that have a real impact.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll help design, build and support applications used within some of the UK's most sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions
Develop back-end applications using Java or Python
Work with cloud technologies
Write clean, secure and well-tested code
Collaborate within Agile development teams
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
What youll need?
Commercial software development experience using Java or Python
Experience with cloud platforms AWS preferred , although Azure or GCP experience is welcomed
Understanding of software engineering best practices
Experience working within Agile environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
