Senior Software Engineer (Java, Quarkus)

A major Brazilian financial institution specializing in investment banking, wealth management, and corporate lending. The customer develops secure digital banking platforms and financial solutions to serve a diverse global client base.
What You’ll Do
Maintain close communication with business areas and other IT teams
Develop back-end solutions using Java Quarkus
Assist in maintaining and supporting the production environment
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in Java development
Knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
Experience with MySQL
Experience with Java Quarkus and/or Spring Boot
Ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneous requests
Experience working in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
Familiarity with REST architecture
Experience or knowledge of using AI tools for development
English proficiency (not mandatory)
