Apply only if you consider yourself to be among the very best and are looking for challenges and rewards that, no other company will provide.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support enterprise digital platforms and business operations.Develop high-quality software usingJava and Spring Boot, following clean code principles and modern engineering standards.Build and maintainmicroservices-based architecturesand RESTful APIs used across internal and customer-facing systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.Participate in the design, development, and delivery of applications withinAgile/SCRUM development environments.Contribute tocontinuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and cloud migration initiativesto improve engineering efficiency and deployment reliability.Work withcloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)to build scalable, resilient services.Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate incode reviews to ensure high engineering standardsacross the team.Utilizecontainerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetesto support modern deployment pipelines.Work withmessaging systems such as Kafka or SQSto support event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.Support applications in production by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering bug fixes and enhancements.Collaborate with business, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure systems meet operational, security, and reliability requirements.Implementmonitoring, metrics, and alerting systemsto provide visibility into system performance and uptime.Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices to continuously improve system architecture and development processes.Requirements3+ years of professional software development experience building backend or distributed systems.Strong experience withJava and the Spring Boot framework.Experience designing and developingRESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Experience working withcloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity withcontainerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience working withrelational or NoSQL databasessuch as PostgreSQL, Spanner, or similar technologies.Experience withJSON, XML, and service-based integrations.Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.Experience withmessaging systems such as Kafka or SQSis a plus.Strong understanding ofobject-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.Experience working inAgile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and develop reliable solutions.Experience collaborating withcross-functional and distributed engineering teams.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.Retail or e-commerce industry experience is a plus.Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.About ConfizWe have a global team of amazing individuals working on highly innovative enterprise projects and products.
