POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Custom Software Engineer on the Financial Services team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing enterprise software solutions using modern frameworks and AWS cloud architecture. Operating in an Agile banking environment, you will solve complex technical challenges, build scalable software components, and provide expert technical leadership across engineering teams.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and optimize backend microservices and database solutions using Spring Boot and Oracle.
- Architect and implement scalable cloud components using AWS services in accordance with enterprise guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams and stakeholders through daily Agile delivery processes.
- Perform complex database query optimization, system schema design, and backend data integration tasks.
- Analyze architectural bottlenecks and deliver high-performing software features to enhance system reliability.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, champion code quality, and contribute to team decision-making.
