Manager Notes:
- This position can be onsite WHQ or onsite Boston, MA (Converse) for the hybrid work schedule
- Not looking for senior level candidates, this would be a level 2 position (targeting 2-4 YOE).
- Needs to have experience building platforms for consumer experiences, AI tooling, and infrastructure.
- Needs to have; Python, TypeScript OR React, AWS, CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to haves, AWS Certs and AI/ML tooling experience
The Software Engineer typically builds the platforms, tools and consumer experiences, spanning AI developer tooling, ecommerce, mobile and internal infrastructure.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and maintain consumer-facing features and internal tools across the digital product portfolio.
- Write clean, testable code across full-stack or backend systems using Python, TypeScript and React.
- Design and implement distributed systems and APIs that serve millions of requests.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and contribute to infrastructure reliability using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
- Participate in code review, technical design and engineering decision making.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years software engineering experience (level dependent).
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript or React, preferably across more than one.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
- CI/CD pipeline experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Track record of working in distributed systems or microservices environments.
- AWS certification or AI/ML tooling experience is a plus.
