Salary: £26,939 - 34,939 per year Requirements A degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline Experience with programming in C/C++ or similar languages Understanding of embedded systems or software development principles Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Desirable: experience with embedded systems or firmware development Desirable: experience with communication protocols such as I2 C, SPI, or UART Desirable: experience with RTOS environments such as Free RTOS or Zephyr Desirable: exposure to electronics or hardware-software integration Desirable: exposure to Io T, cloud-connected, or mobile applications Responsibilities Support the development of software and firmware for embedded microcontrollers and microprocessors, as well as PC and mobile applications Contribute to implementation, debugging, and testing of software modules Work alongside hardware teams to define system architectures, block diagrams, and IO specifications Support the creation of technical documentation and user manuals Assist in unit testing and integration testing of software systems Support validation activities to ensure systems meet functional requirements Contribute to debugging and resolving technical issues Work on a range of projects, supporting delivery from concept through to implementation Plan and execute technical tasks under guidance from senior engineers Document technical outputs, data, and decisions clearly and accurately Follow established software development procedures and standards Use tools such as version control systems and task management tools Continuously develop technical knowledge and engineering skills Technologies Cloud Embedded Firmware Free RTOS Hardware Io T Support Mobile C++ More
