Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and system architecture discussions.
- Develop software solutions using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and methodologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in line with organisational standards.
- Conduct unit testing and support system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software defects, system issues, and performance-related problems.
- Monitor and manage known system errors, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the development environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- 5-8 years' experience working with Object-Oriented Programming concepts and methodologies.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Software Engineer or similar development role.
- Experience with software development technologies such as C#, .NET, C++, PHP , or equivalent programming languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience with InterSystems Ensemble will be advantageous.
