This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ
What You Will Do:
- Develop innovative approaches and solutions to address some of our customers’ most complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with Agile development teams across product areas, including sensors, effectors, command and control, and other mission-focused capabilities for a Collaborative Autonomy Framework
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate algorithms and capabilities, share technical expertise, and develop products across the organization
Qualifications You Must Have:
- 0+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java
Experience with Agile development practices - Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Specific majors: Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, or related scientific or STEM discipline
- Knowledge of DevOps, Git, Linux/UNIX
- Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in C/C++
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
