What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities :
Experience working in fast paced agile scrum development environment.
Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages including Python, Power CLI, JSON, C/C++.
Leverage low level Operating System knowledge to configure/debug in Linux/Unix.
Follow documented specifications and plans with mínimal supervision.
Tool suite familiarity (Jira, Wiki, Slack, Artifactory, and Microsoft Teams).
Establish good working relationships with the team.
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Who You'll Work With
This is your chance to be a part of the Teradata Vantage on VM Engineering team acting as a key influence and enabler into our Teradata on VM product strategies and offerings. The Teradata Vantage on VM Engineering team focuses on private cloud Teradata VM implementations.
BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years’ experience in a professional software development position.
Strong knowledge of coding, OS system configuration/debugging, and scripting skills.
Experience with virtual machine deployment and lifecycle management (KVM, VMWare).
Some level of SQL / Teradata Advanced SQL Engine knowledge.
What You Will Bring
Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
Familiarity with VMware technologies.
Good knowledge of working with Linux or Unix operating systems.
