Solutions Engineer - Supply Chain/Supplier Planning Software - Winston Salem/Greensboro, NC
Candidate must be able to work onsite 5 days a week and be onsite at the client location by day 1
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift MondayFriday schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Support a high-priority supply chain project by developing and configuring within the Maestro planning tool.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and customizations in the Maestro solution.
- Analyze planning and order data to optimize supplier coordination and delivery accuracy.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases.
- Develop scripts using Java and functional programming techniques to automate planning workflows.
- Utilize Excel for advanced data modeling and scripting to support planning functions.
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with development or configuration in the Maestro supplier planning platform.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex planning data.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Experience with Java scripting and functional programming concepts.
- Familiarity with Excel-based programming and automation.
Required Skills: Hands-on experience developing and configuring in the (Kinaxis) Maestro supplier planning tool. Strong SQL experience and querying. Strong programming experience in Excel and databases (functional languages). Experience scripting in Java.
