Software Engineer for Microcontroller Tool Development (f/m/div)

Overview
Software Engineer for Microcontroller Tool Development design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins, with the potential migration to newer technologies like Eclipse Theia and Visual Studio Code. You will implement, troubleshoot, and debug software tools and collaborate with the development team to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
Support the
design, development,
and
maintenance
for
Eclipse IDE Plugins
Support the
design, development,
and
maintenance
for
VSCode/Eclipse Theia Plugins
Actively participate in
troubleshooting
and
debugging
activities
Work closely with other
developers
and
technical
team
spread around the world
Your Profile / Qualifications
A degree in
Computer Science, Software Engineering
, or a similar field
Experience in
Java / TypeScript / object-oriented programming skills
Good knowledge of
software design
and
architectural patterns
(ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, SysML) would be a plus, but not mandatory
Experience with
version control (git)
and
code management (Bitbucket/GitLab)
Fluency in English
(mandatory)
Nice to have
Experience in
embedded software development in C
Experience in
software development in Rust
Knowledge of build tools such as
Maven
or
Gradle
Experience in CI/CD tools such as
Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub
Experience with
Eclipse IDE
plugins / VSCode extensions development
Proven knowledge on
project management
and tools like
Jira/GitLab/GitHub
