Position Summary:
Haventree Bank is seeking a talented React Native Mobile Developer to design and build exceptional native mobile experiences for our iOS and Android banking applications. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, performance-optimized mobile features while participating in technical discussions and architectural decisions. You will own full-cycle mobile development, from technical design and implementation to code reviews and establishing best practices across the team. You'll ensure mobile apps are testable, maintainable, scalable, and observable throughout the development lifecycle, while adhering to banking industry security standards and providing seamless user experiences for our customers.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of modern frameworks for mobile apps especially React Native
Proven experience in designing and building large-scale, consumer-facing mobile apps
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
Improve our mobile build and release process, shipping high quality app updates to members quickly
Deep knowledge of APIs to collaborate effectively with server-side engineers and contribute to API design discussions
Pair programming with engineers on the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of mobile app development experience with React Native, Typescript, React Hooks, context API, Custom Hooks
Good understanding of Native build tools like Xcode, Android studio, Gradle
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Experience with automated testing suites, CI/CD pipelines, GIT
Solid understanding of mobile development principles and best practices
Nice to Have
Experience on Native module integration
Experience with Fastlane for CI/CD Automation
Start-up experience as an added plus
