About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help design, build, and improve cross‑functional software solutions. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions, mentor team members, and translate user needs into scalable, high‑quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define technical requirements
- Design and develop software components across multiple systems
- Review code and specifications to ensure quality and maintainability
- Resolve complex bugs and performance issues
- Apply best practices in coding, testing, and development processes
- Work in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
- Stay current with emerging technologies and tools
- Support and mentor junior developers
- Design and manage data models for scalable applications
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development or related fields
- Based in Mexico City or willing to commute 2 days per week to our Reforma office.
- Practical experience or education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Proficiency in NodeJS, React & AWS
- Familiarity with data modeling and optimization techniques
- Experience with test‑driven development and modern development tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners
