TXT E-Tech , a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defence Business Unit.
TXT E-Tech is seeking a motivated and curious individual with a strong passion for technology and a solid aptitude for problem solving, eager to grow professionally in a dynamic and structured environment.
Main responsibilities
- Requirements analysis
- Development of software modules in C++/QT on Linux operating systems
- Integration of different software modules
- Preparation of technical documentation
- Participation in progress/status meetings
Required technical skills
- Knowledge of Bash scripting and XML
- Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMWare, VirtualBox, or similar)
- Familiarity with IBM toolchain (DOORS, Rhapsody, RQM, etc.)
- Knowledge of microservices architectures (MSA) and macroservices (ESB)
- Experience with multithreading application development
- Experience with distributed application development
Optional technical skills
- Knowledge of Java
- Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, VirtualBox, or similar solutions)
- Proficiency with IBM software engineering toolchain (DOORS, Rhapsody, RQM, etc.)
- Understanding and development of multithreaded applications, with attention to synchronization, resource management, and performance
Education
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields
Work location
- Activities will be carried out at the client’s site in Rome

- The salary range for this position is between EUR 28.000 and EUR 32.000 gross per year.
- The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry)
