Job Title: Software Engineer Python

Location: Bangalore

Duration: Fulltime

Salary Range: 30 LPA to 35 LPA

Job Description:

Skills Required

MUST: Core Programming & Platform Skills

• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Good working knowledge of C++.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix platforms and system-level debugging like Threading/concurrency issues, Scale and performance bottlenecks,
• Strong collaborating and communication skills.

MUST: Computer Science Fundamentals

Strong understanding of:

• Data Structures & Algorithms
• Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Multithreading & Concurrency
• Design Patterns (Singleton, Factory, etc.)
• Database concepts
• Memory and performance optimization

Networking & Security

MUST: Strong understanding of:

• Networking TCP/UDP/TLS.
• Encryption, Authentication, Authorization, Access Control Lists, DoS protection, Certificate management and cipher suites and Secure communication protocol.

MUST: AI-Assisted Development & GenAI Skills:

Candidates should have exposure to modern AI-assisted software development practices and tools, including:

Must: Experience using AI-powered coding assistants and developer productivity tools such as:

• VS Code AI extensions
• OpenAI Codex
• Skills Development
• GitHub Copilot
• ChatGPT
• Other LLM-based developer tools

Must: Familiarity with:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Prompt engineering
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• AI agent/workflow concepts
• AI-assisted debugging, testing, and code generation

Good to have:

Experience building or integrating AI-based tools/applications is a strong advantage, such as:

• Internal productivity tools
• Chatbots or automation assistants
• RAG-based applications
• AI-enabled developer workflows

Good to have:

Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and APIs such as:

• OpenAI APIs
• LangChain / LlamaIndex
• Vector databases
• Embedding models
• Prompt orchestration frameworks

GOOD TO HAVE: Backend & Distributed Systems

Hands-on experience with:

• REST APIs
• Event-driven architectures
• Inter-process communication (IPC)
• HTTP/HTTPS transactions
• Asynchronous programming and messaging systems

GOOD to HAVE: Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with collaboration products.
• Exposure to secure communication platforms or VoIP/SIP-based systems.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools is an advantage.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices.
• Understanding of VoIP and SIP concepts .
• Cisco Collaboration, Calling.
