Job Description The Integration Specialist is responsible for the installation, configuration, and technical support of Elekta's Oncology Information System interfacing solutions.
Responsibilities include remote installation and service.
Responsibilities Perform MOSAIQ application integration with third party EMR systems.
Complete MOSAIQ software component installations and SQL database updates.
- Perform interface migration tasks for upgrades and new installations.
- Work closely with integration programmers to develop new interfaces (HL7, XML, API, FHIR, etc.) Build application specification documents (including but not limited to functional design, workflow, maintenance, and support/troubleshooting, etc.) in applications like Visio, Word, and Excel to keep track of support processes, hardware configuration details, device inventories, etc.
- Provide product training to the service and support teams.
Ensuring project milestones are archived and escalating to project management when issues arise.
Ensuring documented processes are followed and suggesting improvements to documented processes to achieve greater efficiencies.
Employees must be able to read, speak, write, and comprehend the English language.
Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
At least three years of experience working with electronic health record data with performing HL7 v2 and C-CDA message interfaces. x file format (ADT and clinical messages) and a thorough understanding of how interface development projects work.
Extremely strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed, accurate interface specifications and other documents for both a technical and management audience.
The ability to optimally balance multiple projects and prioritize tasks will be the key to success in this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with data providers, systems administrators, and software developers both inside a hospital, cancer center or at third-party organizations.
Proficiency in Windows workstation, Windows Server, SQL Server, Azure, MS Office Suite, Teams, Share Point, and Salesforce preferred.
