Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django) - (F/H/X) - CDI
Kraken Technologies is looking for a senior software engineer to work on the French energy market. The role focuses on domain modelling, building robust and fault‑tolerant software for smart meter data, and delivering solutions primarily in Python and Django, using Celery, async processing, and PostgreSQL.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement domain models for a complex, process‑heavy market.
- Develop fault‑tolerant, asynchronous services using Python, Django, and Celery.
- Handle large volumes of meter readings and ensure system scalability.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement and deployment pipelines on AWS and Hashistack.
Required Experience
- Python (minimum 7 years)
- Django or an equivalent web framework
- Strong knowledge of domain modelling and REST APIs
- Experience writing robust, fault‑tolerant software
- Celery and asynchronous task processing
- PostgreSQL database development
- Fluent in French and at least B2 level in English
