Our client is a US-based company in the financial services sector, focused on delivering digital solutions that support people in making informed financial decisions. The role
· Learn by doing, with real ownership and support from people who want to see you grow.
· Build scalable backend systems and data-driven applications that support meaningful products.
· Work with a developer, a senior tester together on the same location and, an international tech team where asking questions is part of the job, not something to avoid.
Key responsibilities
· Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Python and Java.
· Contribute to backend development and continuous product enhancements.
· Support code quality, unit testing, and integration testing practices.
· Work closely with product and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective solutions.
· Help investigate issues, support defect resolution, and contribute to system reliability.
· Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical improvement initiatives.
· Be flexible and open to supporting priorities that matter most to the business and the team.
Requirements
What we are looking for
· You recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
· You have 0–2 years of experience and are ready for your first big international career step.
· You are curious, motivated, and excited to build things that matter.
· You want to learn more about tech & financial market,
· You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable working in an international environment;
· You enjoy solving problems, learning fast, and figuring things out.
· You like teamwork, feedback, and being part of a place where ideas are shared openly.
What we offer
· Contract with a gross monthly salary range between: € 1’930 - € 2’500 gross (depending on the experience), paid in 14 instalments per year (including exempt from working schedule (IHT), holiday, Christmas allowance);
· A hybrid start, with more remote flexibility as the team evolves.
· Meal Allowance by Coverflex: €10.20 per working day;
· Work from home expenses: €30 gross, monthly fee
· Holidays Balance: 22 days + 3 extra days (Birthday, Weekend Bridge and Christmas);
· Mobile Phone every 2 years of employment (up to € 284.47)

· Hybrid remote work (2-3 times per week) at our Évora office;

A note about the hiring process
You will initially join IG&H on a contract dedicated exclusively to our client. During this phase, you will work closely with your team and are expected to be in the office 2 to 3 times per week in Évora.
